Perancangan Antarmuka Sistem Pengajuan Surat Keterangan Medis Berbasis Web di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta
Abstract
The issuance of Medical Certificates (Surat Keterangan Medis/SKM) at Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta, is still conducted manually, requiring applicants to visit the hospital in person. In addition, the application requirements are not well communicated, reporting is recorded manually in Excel, and completed documents often accumulate because they remain unclaimed. This study aimed to design an online SKM application interface using the prototyping method, which included user needs identification, design, and evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving medical record officers responsible for SKM services. The results of the study consisted of functional and non-functional requirements, a context diagram (DFD Level 0) and DFD Level 1, a process flowchart, and interface designs for both applicants and officers. The proposed features included application submission, document upload, requirement and payment verification, status tracking, and automated reporting. Two stages of black-box testing showed that all core functions operated as expected and were accepted by the officers after minor revisions. The proposed design is feasible for further development and integration with SIMETRISS to improve accessibility, document completeness, process efficiency, and reporting validity.
